This is the annual event during which the "Jean Moréas" Prizes are awarded for Greek poetic art and Greek poetic production in its entire range. They are recognizable nationwide and concern the poetry collections that were published throughout the previous calendar year from the year of the award. They refer both to young poets and newcomers and to those who are recognized with their poetic work along time.
The event is highly appreciated by the Greek literary and artistic circle of readers. In this year's event, in addition to the institutionalized awards, a very important foreign poet will be honored, who with his/her lifelong work honors the literature outside Greece. The Award Committee is composed of Greek University professors, as well as very important poets and poetry critics who will evaluate the work of the honorees.

COMING AGAIN FROM WORK
Coming back from work again
after the day's wages of my unemployed thought,
I' m looking for keys I've been collecting
for home, the car, for the anxiety of the closet.
I had learned all the teeth
of a key that opens everything,
unlocking my yes
because I heard no
with vigor in the cries of the dawn
from a throat that shines pain and silence,
maybe I'll be hired as the last one
in the melting of the erevus.
* * *
Into my loneliness swamp
Here and there a heron
Visits her to feed himself;
The loneliness becomes thick.
Fish in the marsh
They are cubic in shape
They don't swim
They don't need a tail.
I' m fishing the cubes
And I'm building a wall
Don't make loneliness visible
Don't be an unprotected reed in the wind.
With every mastery I alphad my omega
After all, I was the builder's homeless son
But luckily, the fish were very few
Leaving a gap in the wall
Like I hung a window on him.
