Bent like the willow in the wind
how is it possible that they live in this house
and not realize that it sways
that it stares at the ground then the sky

I was their young visitor
I was asking for my room, that is what they owe
the youth long to stay alone
they learn their body, they masturbate

they daydream invent the whole world
in the wind the windows shattered
the wood turned into dust, door handles fell
on the floor, some stability returned

in my room as a child, I held
one camera from the future, that is what I owed
to immortalize my youth, on my own,
the residents showed no discretion,

father in the living room, mother
from room to room, son in the bathroom,
they must have been my parents, I must have been me
none of them will allow my salvation

from decay, three old men bending
their bones were creaking, wooden wheel
in the wind their gaze shattered
how come I am invisible, reserved

the camera from the future was stalking the past
which was stalking me, the house filling with intruders
the thief's son, the quarreler's son
also immortalizing the future

the old furniture fortress, I was piling armoires
sofas behind flimsy windows,
behind doors I pushed with my back
the walls, the future to the other side

where will I find some quiet, how will I cast off
this indiscreet reminder
with the wind I bent just like our house,
its residents, the father, the mother, the son

three old faucets thrown in a box
even so if you turn them on water still runs,
discoloured, neglected, thy are none other
than my unfortified fiction

I, no more riotous
than my involuntary young visitor
of my future or his elderly son
arrived all the way here randomly by the wind.

Μυθοπλασία

Με τον άνεμο λύγιζε όπως η λεύκα,
πώς γίνεται να κατοικούν τούτο το σπίτι
και να μην καταλαβαίνουν ότι ταλαντεύεται
ότι κοιτά τη γη έπειτα τον ουρανό,

ήμουν ο νεαρός επισκέπτης τους,
ζητούσα το δωμάτιό μου, αυτό οφείλουν
οι νεαροί αποζητούν να μένουν μόνοι
γνωρίζουν το σώμα τους, αυνανίζονται

ονειροπολούν επινοούν όλον τον κόσμο
με τον άνεμο θρυμματίζονταν τα παράθυρα
γίνονταν το ξύλο σκόνη, τα πόμολα έπεφταν
στο δάπεδο, επέστρεφε κάποια σταθερότητα

στο παιδικό δωμάτιό μου, κρατούσα
μία κάμερα από το μέλλον, αυτό όφειλα
να απαθανατίσω τη νεότητά μου, μόνος μου,
οι ένοικοι δεν έδειχναν καμία διακριτικότητα,

ο πατέρας στο καθιστικό, η μητέρα
από δωμάτιο σε δωμάτιο, ο γιος στο μπάνιο,
ήταν μάλλον οι γονείς μου, ήμουν μάλλον εγώ
κανείς τους δεν θα μου επιτρέψει να σωθώ

από τη φθορά, τρεις γέροι σκυφτοί,
τα κόκκαλά τους έτριζαν, ξύλινος τροχός
με τον άνεμο το βλέμμα τους θρυμματίζονταν
πώς γίνεται να είμαι αόρατος, συνεσταλμένος

η κάμερα από το μέλλον καταδίωκε το παρελθόν
που με καταδίωκε, το σπίτι γέμιζε εισβολείς
ο γιος του ληστή, ο γιος του καβγατζή
απαθανάτιζαν και αυτοί το μέλλον

η παλιά επίπλωση οχύρωση, στοίβαζα ερμάρια
καναπέδες πίσω από τα σαθρά παράθυρα,
πίσω από τις πόρτες έσπρωχνα με την πλάτη
τους τοίχους, το μέλλον από την άλλη

πού θα βρω λίγη ησυχία, πώς θ' απαλλαγώ
από τούτη την αδιάκριτη υπενθύμιση,
με τον άνεμο λύγιζα όπως το σπίτι μας,
οι ένοικοί του, ο πατέρας, η μητέρα, ο γιος,

τρεις παλιές βρύσες πεταμένες σε μία κάσα
και όμως αν τις ανοίξεις τρέχει ακόμη νερό,
αποχρωματισμένοι, ασυντήρητοι, δεν είναι
παρά η ανοχύρωτη μυθοπλασία μου

εγώ, όχι περισσότερο εξεγερμένος
από τον νεαρό άθελά μου επισκέπτη
του μέλλοντός μου ή ο γέρος γιος του
που έφτασα έως εδώ τυχαία με τον άνεμο.

Dialogue

It's in the cracks, in the rocks of the dry stone
forgotten secrets nesting with the lizards
a silivouti immobilized on the back of a bone
could it have been an Easter lamb? A tailless gecko

runs and disappears in the derelict time
its tail gawking dehydrated memory in the sun's
vertical light its eyes black as night staring at me
yes, at some point one stone will suddenly escape

there we sat to dry the sea water off
one summer being torn down always and now
another lizard steady in the figs and the flesh
that we are desiccating on the old ledge

speaking with the indescribable and shaken off
insignificant remains of what we lived,
here in the cracks, in the rocks of the dry stone
sunk in oblivion's splits by swims

of past times, like removed from the shore
Pebbles dry old kisses, why did we keep them?
forgotten secrets nesting with the lizards
our bodies on the stone faded old drawings.

Διάλογος

Είναι στα χάσματα, στις πέτρες της ξερολιθιάς
μυστικά ξεχασμένα φωλιάζουν με τις σαύρες
αγκυλωμένο ένα σιλιβούτι στη ράχη ενός οστού,
να ήταν αρνί πασχαλινό; ένα μολυντήρι κολοβό

τρέχει και χάνεται στον ετοιμόρροπο χρόνο
η ουρά του χάσκει μνήμη αφυδατωμένη στου ήλιου
το κάθετο φως τα κατάμαυρα μάτια του με κοιτάν
ναι, κάποια στιγμή μία πέτρα αιφνίδια θα ξεφύγει

εκειδά καθίσαμε να στεγνώσει το θαλασσινό νερό
κάποιο καλοκαίρι που γκρεμίζεται ολοένα και τώρα
άλλη μία σαύρα ακίνητη στα σύκα και στη σάρκα
που αποξηραίνουμε πάνω στην παλιά πεζούλα

μιλάει με τα ανεκδιήγητα και τ' αποτιναγμένα
ασήμαντα υπολείμματα όσων ζήσαμε, άραγε πότε;
εδωνά στα χάσματα, στις πέτρες της ξερολιθιάς
χωμένα στης λήθης τις σκισμάδες από κολύμπια

αλλοτινά, σαν παρμένα από την ακροθαλασσιά
βότσαλα στεγνά παλιά φιλιά, γιατί τα κρατήσαμε;
μυστικά ξεχασμένα φωλιάζουν με τις σαύρες
τα σώματά μας στην πέτρα ξέθωρες παλιές ζωγραφιές.
